Good Golly Miss Mollie!

I can't help but get excited when I get the opportunity to photograph such a tony little tot.  I stayed up till 5 in the morning prior to the shoot making a new hammock/fringe blanket just for some new "girlie" looks for her shoot (first image below), I think it turned out gorgeous...I LOVE the colors. :-)  Little Mollie was just 3 weeks old when this shoot took place. She was perfectly precious.   She wasn't the happiest camper about the whole thing, but I promised mom and Mollie they would thank me one day for the images.  I hope that day is today for mom.  Here are my favs from the session...enjoy & more to follow in the gallery :-)

The Jaggers Family

Look at this beautiful family!!!  What a pleasure is was to take their family photo's.  We took this snap shot in front of these gorgeous doors in Anchorage (which has become one of my favorite session spots).  It was a cold blustery day.  Everyone had to bundle up to keep the cold out.

I had a great time during this photo shoot!  Thank you Susan for letting me take these precious photo's:)!

The Puffer Family

What a great family!  I had the chance to meet up a couple of days early with the Puffer family to choose outfits that would look fabulous for the photo's...I think we did pretty good:)!  We went to Anchorage.  What a beautiful location for family photo's.  There are all kinds of wonderful spots.

Look at these sweets boys...they did so good for me even though it was freezing cold outside!  Good job boys.

It was supposed to be only a 20% chance of snow this day...but it seemed like more than that to us.  At the end of the session we got a lot of snow action.:)  They were such great sports when it came to taking photo's with the snow falling all around us.

The Littlest Russell...Part 2 of the Russell Family

Okay, so this little guy was the reason for the Russell shoot to begin with so when I looked over my reel of images (previous post Russell Family Part 1), I realized I really didn't do enough of just him (even though my favorite shot of that day was of him on the railroad tracks).  So I decided to go to their home the next day and focus just on little man.  I'm so glad I did because he is so dang adorable.  He's beautiful, really.  But not many people like you to call a boy "beautiful" so I'll call him adorable for now...and beautiful when no one is listening and I'm editing away...here are some of my favs of his special photo session.  What a beautiful ( I mean, "adorable" ) baby boy.

LIVE LAUGH LOVE...The Russell Family Part 1

Okay...it's Thanksgiving so I might as well begin with what I am thankful for.  I am thankful for clients.  I am thankful for my partner, Cindy.  I am thankful that a tiny idea of a business in this has turned into something big.  I am thankful to have had the opportunity to get to know this fun family better.  I am thankful they are patient as my little one and her cast has not been.  I am thankful I have a husband cooking the bird and sides when I wake up since it is after 4 am and I'm trying my hardest to keep my eyelids open long enough to get this darn post up.  I could go on and on, but I won't.  I need the sleep so roll with me here. :-)

These guys had to be the most easy going family I have shot to date.  The kids were so sweet and Jessica & Street were hilarious!  I always knew Jessica was a pretty funny gal from what little I knew of her, but her husband is a REAL jokester. :-D  Seriously.  He is a stand up comedian and he kept us all laughing throughout the session pretty good.  While the family session was actually inspired by the littlest guy (Street Jr.), this day was mostly about family.  I went back the next day and shot little Street and will post that session on another day (soon, I promise!).  I loved being around such a fun and comfortable family.  It all starts with the love of a mother and father.  They are truly each others best friends.  They are so comfortable together and totally "get" each other.  They are two peas in a pod.  My favorite images from this session are...well, I bet you can guess!

I'll be posting Part 2 (Street Jr) after the Holiday sometime soon.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

The Clifford Family

This is Kassi Clifford and her amazing little family!!!  She is my partner in crime (as far as photography goes).  We have had so many wonderful experiences in our photography journey together.  This is one of my favorite 'Urban' shots that we took in downtown  Louisville.  This family shoot was actually a two day event.  One day we shot fall photos by an old house in Crestwood and then the next day we headed downtown for a Hard Kandy shoot.  They turned out great!

Look at that cast...it totally matches Tori's outfit...what a great mom coodinate her outfit to match her cast.LOL!!!:)
Look at that adorable family...expecially Tori in her cast!  She really was a great sport as we went around taking photos.

Va Va Vixens!

I had the opportunity to shoot Louisville's one and only Burlesque troop, the "Va Va Vixens" all over downtown Louisville as a promo for their "Va Va Vintage show", performing NOW. For those of you who don't know what Burlesque is...think "Moulin Rouge"...there is also another flick called "Burlesque" that will be in theaters this Thanksgiving.  Here is a review of the show by Leo magazine if you want to know more about the show and yet another by the Courier Journal.  The ladies were so much fun and total hotties---  oh, and the "suits" at the 4th Street Live shoot were a hoot! ;-D
Good Luck with the show gals!

This weekend is the last weekend to catch the show!  Thanks for the fun shoot :-)  To see more of their shoot, click here.
