Smalley Family Session...Gorgeousness!

Okay, so for the last day of the year, I thought I would post on a family Cindy & I recently shot together that was full of fun and creativity.  I love it when a family trusts us and allows us to really showcase what we do best. Below are some of my favorites of the session.  Enjoy, Happy New Year and we look forward to all the great changes coming in 2012!!

Black Family~Sweet Family Portraits

I am so glad to have the opportunity to know this amazing family and hope to get to know them even more.  I was thrilled to do their family portraits and was so excited to see all the custom hand made pieces that Jessica (the momma) made to make it extra special like the cute headbands, flowers and legwarmers.  I love the color splashes and pattern mixes.  Great job coordinating this one, Jessica!

What a fun family.  I've known Nicole for years now and it was such a privilege to take her family photo's!  Just look at these gorgeous children.  Love you all.

The Alvarado Family

What a precious little family!  Just look at those beautiful kidos. Big brother was constantly loving on his baby brother.  They were so sweet.  Thanks Alvarado family for allowing us to photograph you all.

Strull Family

This family was so adorable.  Dana, Alex and Izzy were such a pleasure to photograph.  They let Kassi and I use our creative juices and  did whatever we wanted them to do.  What great sports.  Their images turned out gorgeous!

Huber's Wedding

This was a spur of the moment wedding that we were able to participate in!  We were in-between photo sessions when Kassi noticed this wonderful couple didn't have a photographer. She approached one of the brides maids and recommended our services for the little bit of time we had available. Very fun and exciting!  We wish them all the best!  These are just some of the images we captured.

Sweet Love

This darling couple made this session so fun and silly!  It's so wonderful to witness such sweetness between a couple.  I loved it when they were making faces and just completely enjoying each other!!!  Priceless!

I think I laughed through the last 30 minutes of this session.  The session began as any adorable kids session would…pretty kids in pretty clothes in a pretty park {It’s the magic recipe for beautiful portraits}, of course we had a bit of fun playing and jumping on the large rocks...but it quickly became huge dogs running and kids chasing and sheer chaos when Grandpa brought the family dogs.  It was so much fun to capture the adorableness of the children and their pets.  I LOVE to be able to see more about a family than just their outer self. It is great when I get a glimpse of what makes them happy, what brings them joy and who they really are when they are not smiling for the camera.  The love they all have for their four legged friends is so sweet.  It has actually inspired me to search for the perfect dog for our family. Thank you, Baker family for letting us share in the fun!
